Library Hours
Museum Passes
Through the generosity of The Friends of the Wethersfield Library we have a number of passes available to various museums.
About the Passes
As the state of Connecticut slowly reopens attractions as part of its phased opening plan, many places are severely limiting the usage of library passes. We are contacting each attraction to confirm if they are open or not, and if they are accepting library passes at this time. As we continue to gather this information and confirm each place’s status, we will make the available passes visible and reservable. You can see them by clicking on the “View and Reserve…” links below. Please call us at 860-529-2665 to make a reservation for a physical pass, and an appointment to pick it up. In addition, you will need to call the attraction itself to confirm their hours of operation and any new rules and restrictions they might have.
You will need a valid library card to make a museum pass reservation. Reservations can be placed up to 60 days in advance, with a limit of 2 reservations at any time.
Printable passes can be printed at home. If you are unable to print at home, please call us at 860-529-2665 to arrange printing and an appointment to pick it up.
Passes may be picked up 10:00 am – 9:00 pm on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday; and 10:00 am – 5:00 pm on Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday. All physical passes must be returned by 10:00 am on the next day the library is open (usually the day after you use it). Passes may be placed in the bookdrop any time.
Passes must be returned to Wethersfield Library. There is a $10.00 per day fine if the pass is returned late, or returned to another library. You will be billed replacement costs for lost passes.
Museum passes must be checked out by adults (18 years of age and older) using their own library card.
