After months of anticipation, the drawing for the 3 beautiful baskets, which had been on display for months, finally occurred on Friday – December 1st!  There were 3 baskets stuffed with all sorts of goodies:

The 3 lucky winners have been contacted:  Natalie I. won the Holiday basket; Lucy R. won the Quilt basket, Lee D. won the Children’s basket. Congratulations!

We are happy to report that over $1100 was raised by this fundraiser!! All the proceeds will go to funding various programs and events at the library. We thank all the folks who supported this basket raffle by purchasing tickets!

The Friends of the Wethersfield Library Fall Book Sale returned this year, and what a success it was! Over $7600 was raised during a public sale on Saturday, November 4th and Sunday, November 5th. There was a huge selection of books, CDs, and audiobooks in many different categories for children, teens, and adults.

The Friends of the Wethersfield Library organize and run a variety of book sales, raffles, and other fundraising events to support and fund Library programs, museum passes, and events. We thank all Wethersfield residents who have donated items. We could not have done it without your support!

Everyone loves puzzles! In February the Friends of the Wethersfield Library held a pop-up puzzle sale. It was so successful that nearly all the puzzles sold out in just one day! The proceeds will go toward sponsoring Library programs and activities. We want to thank the community for donating so many of these puzzles. Without your help we could not have done it!

Another pop-up sale, this time for children’s books, was held in June. The proceeds made on this sale will help finance Library programs and events for the community. Thank you for your support!
