Spring Program Schedule

Wethersfield residents IN PERSON OR BY PHONE: Tuesday, March 11th-March 16th, during library hours

*Programs are NOT held when Wethersfield Schools are canceled or delayed due to weather*
*Programs will not be held during April school vacation week: April 14th-18th*

Since programs are planned to meet the developmental needs and interests of targeted age groups, it is in the best interests of all to honor the age requirements specified for each program. Participants must be the age specified at the start of the program.

Toddler/Preschool Programs

WIGGLERS & JIGGLERS
for 12-23 month olds
Tuesday: 10:15AM OR Thursday: 10:15AM
Stimulating lapsit program for parents & their toddlers. Includes sharing board books,
nursery rhymes, bouncing games, fingerplays, & flannelboard activities.


TERRIFIC TWOS
for 2 year olds
Wednesday: 10:15AM OR Thursday: 11:15AM
Exciting program whereby toddlers begin to appreciate longer stories & participate in
group activities. Includes stories, fingerplays, songs, circle games & simple crafts.


STORY STEW

for 3-5 year olds
Tuesday: 11:15AM OR Tuesday: 1:30PM OR Wednesday: 11:15AM
Riveting theme-based stories, fingerplays, crafts, games & songs.

DROP-IN PLAYTIME/STORYTIME
for all ages
Friday: 10AM-12PM
A librarian will be on hand at each session to share a story and song @ 11AM

School-age Programs

MUNCHA BUNCHA BOOKS
for 1st, 2nd & 3rd graders
Thursday: April 3rd & May 1st @ 3:30PM
Stories, riddles, games, crafts, munchies & lots of fun!


PIZZA & PAGES
for 3rd-6th graders
Tuesday: April 29th, 6:00PM-8:00PM
Nutmeg Award Book Discussion Series with a light supper.
Book to be discussed: Shakespeare's Secret by Elise Broach

Family Programs

FAMILY "PJ" STORYTIME
for all ages
Thursday: 6:30PM
"Story Stew" program is repeated (with some modifications)
to encourage families to spend time listening to stories,
playing games, and/or completing crafts together

SPEND A MAGICAL EVENING AT THE WETHERSFIELD LIBRARY
