Artist of the Month - February

Paintings by local artist Anne Sheffield will be on display at the Wethersfield Library. The exhibit, titled "Creation, Depression and Recovery" will be on display during the month of February.

Anne Sheffield is a longtime member of the Wethersfield Art League and Connecticut Art Educator's Association. As an instructor, she taught art and creative writing.

In the Display Case - February

A display featuring the contributions of black jazz musicians, composers, arrangers and vocalists will be on display at the Library during the month of February.

The collection is courtesy of Harry Lichtenbaum, a charter member and past president of the Hartford Jazz Society, the longest running jazz society in the nation, founded in 1960 and still active.
