Registration Information
Registration is required for all special events and begins:
Wethersfield residents in person or by phone: June 1st
Residents & non-residents in person or by phone: June 14th
Make a Splash: Read Kickoff with Stevesongs
Tuesday, June 29th @ 6:30PM
On the lawn between the Wethersfield Library & the Silas Deane Middle School
If inclement weather, event will be held at the Silas Deane Middle School auditorium and
tickets will be required due to limited seating
Registration/ticket distribution
To register and receive tickets children must be signed up for the Summer Reading Program
Pet Show & Parade
Wednesday, July 7th @ 10:30AM
Bring your pet to the library for a parade and judging.
Categories include: 1. dogs 2. cats 3. other pets & 4. stuffed animals.
If inclement weather, please bring a stuffed animal ONLY.
Program will be held on the lawn between the Wethersfield Library and the Silas Deane Middle School
Move & Groove with "Mr. Gym"
Thursday, July 15th @ 6:30PM
Get physically fit through music and creative movement with "Mr. Gym", a children's singer and songwriter from Connecticut.
Beach Party
Wednesday, July 21st @ 10:30AM or 2:30PM
Wear your bathing suit, bring your beach towel, and join us for some beach party fun!
Stories, dancing, singing, crafts and games
Undersea Safari Family Concert
Thursday, July 29th @ 6:30PM
With singer songwriter Chris Rowlands!
Sing, dance and learn all about oceans!
Fun for the whole family!
Even will be held at the Silas Deane Middle School auditorium and tickets will be required due to limited seating!
Looney Library 'Lympics
Wednesday, August 4th @ 10:30AM
Prepare to "make a splash" while competing in fun Library 'Lympic water games!
Make sure to wear something that can get wet!
The games will be held on the lawn between the Wethersfield Library and the Silas
Deane Middle School.
If Inclement weather games will be "dry" and will be held in the Library's Community room.
Meet Rocky the Rock Cat
